United Nations 75th Birthday (#UN75)

24 October 2020. We celebrated the United Nations 75th Birthday (#UN75) in our own style.

To top our day up we were graced with the presence of Resident Coordinator (RC), His Excellency (HE) Mr. Sanaka Samarasinha. RC Sanaka inspired those present and challenged all to think of ways to contribute positively to our world. He encouraged responsible and impactful leadership.

The day began with a Security Council Summation participated in by the trainees of the Junior Level MUN Training Programme.

The President Mr. Akmal Ali and the Secretary Mr. Shivneet Kumar also attended the UN75 celebrations at USP hosted by United Nations in the Pacific.
