Attending the 77 years of Independence of Indonesia Event

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Fiji celebrated their 77 years of Independence at Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) in Suva on Tuesday night. Acting President Hon. Mr. Shivneet Kumar and the Secretary Hon. Mr. Muhammad Al-Dousary of The United Nations Association of Fiji (UNA Fiji) attended the event.

The Chief Guest at the event was Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E Retno L.P. Marsudi. Other important guests at the event were His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Fiji, Hon. Ratu Wiliame Katonivere and Madam First Lady, Adi Filomena Katonivere along with the Hon. Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama and First Lady Mrs. Mary Bainimarama and the Speaker of the Parliament of Republic of Fiji Hon. Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

The Independence Day celebration theme was “Recover Faster, Rise Stronger”.
