International Civil Society Week (ICSW) 2017

Description:
ICSW 2017 hosted almost 700 delegates from 115 countries at the University of the South Pacific – Suva – Fiji. Different CSOs and NGO leaders and practitioners from across the globe came together for a week to discuss new spaces in civil society and learn more about how other delegates carry out their respective activities. In the event, our representative was exposed to many new organizations and people.
The highlight of his attendance was in particular being present in the CIVICUS Youth Assembly, the World Assembly, and the Innovation for Change (I4C)- Pacific Hub meeting and meeting in person the UN Youth Envoy and the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations.
