UNA Fiji celebrated its 9th Birthday on Saturday, 14 October 2023 by partnering with Nausori Town Council to beautify Lalu Park in Nasinu, aligning with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Chief Guest, Ms. Catanisiga, Executive Director of the Fiji Council Of Social Services (FCOSS) , praised UNA Fiji for its commitment to creating a positive impact and encouraged continued efforts.

Mr. Rizwan Hussain, Financial Advisor of UNA Fiji and Acting CEO of Merchant Finance Limited, highlighted the association's role as a catalyst for positive change in society, contributing to #SDGs related to community development and social progress.

Both speakers congratulated UNA Fiji on its 9th-anniversary milestone, emphasizing the association's journey towards social betterment.

The President and Founder, Mr. Akmal Ali, expressed gratitude to FCOSS for their early support, underscoring how UNA Fiji's evolution aligns with #SDGs, especially those related to partnerships and community development.

This event, although modest in scale, echoes UNA Fiji's overarching theme, "decade of action turning lessons into impact to achieve the 2030 agenda," demonstrating its commitment to advancing the #SDGs, particularly those linked to community involvement, environmental stewardship, and partnerships for progress.
